SUBFLOOR

Subfloor Ventilation.

Increasing air-flow to sub-floors is often necessary when static brick vents aren’t sufficient to deal with moisture build-up. We like to expel air with a low voltage fan and then have it being replaced with fresh dry air.

Drainage must be under control as a starting point and we find by installing a CSR Edmonds Ecofan, we can significantly lift the number of air-changes to the sub-floor that will help dry things out thus removing damp musky odours and reducing likely hood of mould and other associated problems.

We have seen bowed and buckled floors settle back down within 10  days of a unit being installed.
