Glasswool batts are by far the most popular material for wall & ceiling insulation being both cost effective & readily available. Glasswool is made from over 80% recycled glass & has been assessed as non-hazardous under the National Occupational Health & Safety Commission’s guidelines.Glasswool also has the best fire rating of any insulation material.

Rockwool is made from spun fibres of volcanic rocks and can use blast furnace slag, and other mineral waste to form insulation batts, sheets and blankets of known thermal and acoustic performance.Rockwool is considerably denser than Glasswool insulation and has a reputation as a Premium product with excellent Acoustic benefits as well as capacity to handle very high temperatures.

Polyester is an oil derrivative Synthetic Fibre and includes Brands such as Martini, Tontine, and Autex.

Foilboard is an Australian made product that combines 2 reflective surfaces onto a Polystyrene Substrate and is an alternate form of insulation suitable for potentially damp areas and  where minimal space is available.
